Guide pin and bush are have a pin and a cylindrical part that function as a guide to position a core plate and a cavity plate.
It is used as a guide to align a cavity core.
Usually four pins are installed. Quenched tool steels that have high abrasion resistance with hardness of over HRC55 are used.
